As a start, you have to check the manufacturer of your
GPU and CPU.
If you have an Intel CPU or GPU, first you have to check in the release notes whether your processor supports OpenCL:
http://software.intel.com/en-us/articles/opencl-release-notes/#CPUDL
If your processor supports OpenCL, you have to download and install the latest runtime:
http://software.intel.com/en-us/articles/vcsource-tools-opencl-sdk/
If you have an NVIDIA graphics card, you should visit the auto-detect utility webpage:
http://www.nvidia.com/Download/Scan.aspx?lang=en-us
That will guide you through the installation process.
If you have an AMD graphics card, visit
http://sites.amd.com/us/game/downloads/Pages/downloads.aspx and download the latest driver.
If you have an AMD CPU and couldn’t install the latest Catalyst version, try the APP SDK:
http://developer.amd.com/sdks/AMDAPPSDK/downloads/Pages/default.aspx#one
Some notebook manufacturers do not permit manual software updates; in that case please contact your manufacturer.
